Meet The Pastor

Pastor Brian & Joy Nwelue: We are married with 2 wonderful children. We were married in 2015 at our Victory World Outreach Church in Denton, TX. I surrendered my life to Christ in September of 2013 at Victory World Outreach in Denton, TX. We served in VWO Denton for almost 10 years in various ministries. We were sent out to pioneer Victory World Outreach Garland in August 2022. We’ve seen God’s faithfulness every step of the way in Garland. We believe the best is yet to come as we continue to trust Him. It’s our joy to serve at Victory World Outreach in Garland, where you’ll always be welcomed, encouraged, and reminded that with Christ, all things are possible.
 

About VWO Bowie Tx

VWO is a multi-generational Christian church dedicated to reaching people from all walks of life w/ the hope of the Gospel. We were started from our mother church in Denton, TX. Our VWO fellowship was started in 1978 in Colorado Springs, CO. We are excited to bring the same vision of reaching people for Jesus, teaching them the Gospel & planting churches to Garland! We would love to invite your family and see God do a miracle in your life.

OUR VISION

Victory World Outreach is a church with a heart to reach people for Jesus and see lives truly changed by the power of the Gospel.

We believe the church is called to do more than gather for services. We are called to reach the lost, help people grow in their walk with God, and raise up men and women who will serve, lead, and answer the call of God on their lives.

Jesus said in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” That is the heartbeat of Victory World Outreach.

Our vision is simple:

We reach people through the Gospel, outreach, and evangelism.
We teach people to follow Jesus, grow in faith, and become strong disciples.
We send people to serve, minister, and help carry the Gospel into other cities, states, and nations.

Grow is your relationship with God by joining a small group, attending services, & investing time into reading your Bible & praying.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

SERVICES

Each of our services has a different song service, message from one of our pastors, and activities for the kids!.

DRESS

We want you to feel comfortable coming to church. Come in jeans and a t-shirt or in a dress and heels. You will see a variety of attires during each of our services.

CHILDREN

We love our Victory Kids and know how important it is for them to make friends & to be well cared for at church. We offer childcare at each of our services for ages 0-4 and Sunday School, sundays at 10am, for ages 4-12.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

BIBLE

We believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God.

  • That the 66 books of the Old and New Testament were inspired by the Spirit of God as originally written

  • That the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct

GOD

We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, existing in three equal Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

JESUS CHRIST

We believe in the absolute and essential deity of our Lord Jesus Christ

  • In His eternal existence, with the Father in pre-incarnate glory

  • In His work of creation, in His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death and bodily resurrection

  • In His triumphant ascension, mediatorial ministry and personal return

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the absolute and essential deity, and in the personality of the Holy Spirit

  • Who convinces of sin, of righteousness and of judgment

  • Who regenerates, indwells, seals, sanctifies, illuminates and comforts those who believe in Jesus Christ

  • Who baptizes believers at conversion into the Body of Christ and bestows upon them His gifts sovereignly as He wills and fills those yielded to Him

MANKIND

We believe that Adam was divinely created in the image of God

  • That by the sin of disobedience he fell from that state

  • That all his posterity inherited spiritual depravity and defilement

  • That all men therefore are guilty before God and condemned to physical and spiritual death

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is by the sovereign grace of God

  • That by the Father, Christ voluntarily suffered a propitiatory death

  • That justification is by faith alone in the all-sufficient sacrifice and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ

  • That those whom God has effectually called shall be divinely preserved and ultimately perfected in the image of the Lord
